In the fall, the Iowa High School Esports Association moved the Fall Finals to the Marshalltown Orpheum. It provided a great venue for the State Showdown as the competition can take advantage of both the Emerson and the MechDyne Black Box at the site.
Yesterday, the Marshalltown Bobcat Overwatch squad qualified for the State Showdown at the Marshalltown Orpheum after defeating Oskaloosa 3-0. The Bobcats will compete at the Orpheum for the first time, however return to state from last season.
