With Homecoming festivities set to begin, Marshalltown High School is proud to announce the 2023 Homecoming court.
“The students on the homecoming court have been heavily involved in activities throughout high school. They exemplify the best of our Bobcat community, not only in academics but also in citizenship, much like many other outstanding members of the Class of 2024,” said MHS Principal Jacque Wyant.
2023 King Candidates:
Rogelio Ceren, Jacob Gudith, Ivan Pantoja, Caleb Kusserow, Salvador Ruiz, Cory Smith, Diego Tejada, and Jacob Theissen.
2023 Queen Candidates:
Natalie Andrade, Lydia Blevins, Jordyn Daggett, Thalia Gallegos, Carroll Gomez Reyes, Deanna Hernandez, Angelina Ibarra Singh, Ava Lucas, and Amaya Moore.
Coronation will be held at the Roundhouse on Thursday, Sept. 14 following the Homecoming Parade, which starts at 6 p.m. and will be on Main Street.
The Bobcats will face Newton at Leonard Cole Field for this year’s Homecoming football game. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15.
The Homecoming Dance is from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the MHS Auxiliary Gym on Saturday, Sept. 16.
