OTTUMWA — The Marshalltown girls’ bowling team fell to unbeaten Ottumwa on Tuesday, getting outscored 2,455-2,139 at Champion Bowl.
The Bobcats (1-2) were led by Devin Peterson, who posted a 329 series thanks to a team-high 173 game. Sydney May rolled a 295 series, Kenedy Lammert came away with a 291, Ariana Villagomez got a 286 and Camillya Thomas added a 275.
Mackenzie Clubb led Ottumwa (3-0) with a 444 series.
The Marshalltown boys escaped with a narrow victory, edging the host Bulldogs 2,797-2,726. Statistics were not available as of press time.
