Marshalltown High School proudly welcomed its newest members into the National Honor Society (NHS) during an induction ceremony held on Wednesday, April 23 at the Marshalltown Performing Arts Center.
The event celebrated students who exemplify the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Family members, staff, and administrators gathered to honor the students' hard work and commitment to excellence both in and out of the classroom.
During the ceremony, current NHS officers spoke about the significance of each pillar, and Sue Cahill shared remarks on the importance of leadership and service in the Marshalltown community. New members took the NHS pledge before receiving certificates symbolizing their achievement.
